Welcome!

The New Westminster Rotary Club was organized and chartered in 1928. Since that time, we have been proud to have six of our members serve as Govenors of our district and to have sponsored five new clubs.

Our club participates in a number of fund raising activities within the New Westminster community. These funds are used to support many local and international projects. In 1969, we embarked on a plan to build a high rise apartment building for low-income senior citizens which we continue to support. The seed money was raised by the club and with the help of the City of New Westminster, the Provincial Government and the Federal Governments. Today, the Rotary Tower stands as a monument to the hard working, dedicated Rotarians. More recent projects include playground equipment, scholarships and bursaries, and the Crosstown Greenway.

"There can be no better introduction to the life of a community than one that comes through the local Rotary club" Paul Harris.
